Toontown

1. List the components of the HUD (Head Up Display = every informational, status, ID, or tool):




A: Chat
B: Friends
C: Other Players
D: Laugh Points
E: Book (options & in-game functions)
F: Your Player
G: Subscription Link

4. Give some examples of how color, shape, contrast, position, motion, and sound in Toontown allow you to know what is and is not interactive?


Color = Separates areas such as HUD from background
Contrast = Helps separate the emphasize the elements that make up the HUD.
Position = The characters position is indicated on the map. Also, you can see your character and know his position in real time.
Motion = Motion is conveyed by movement, similar to how it is in the real world.
Sound = Is used as an indicator to tell you where you are. Different songs play for different locations

Toontown incorporates spatial navigation (HOH-Agency pg. 129, The Pleasures of Navigation)
